Cattle numbers are at their lowest since 1951. Ranchers culled herds during tough years, and now with fewer cattle and strong demand, prices are booming. The USDA says beef production is down 4%, while grocery store prices keep climbing.

Most ranchers aren’t splurging — they’re paying down debt, fixing old gear, and investing in better genetics. Quality over quantity is the name of the game.
